THE ROLE


As PHP Developer you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications according to the most recent standards, helping the business to be more efficient and thereby allowing us to provide a better service to our subscribers and internal clients.


YOU WILL

  • Implement new features to the existing project (PHP, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, MySql, Symfony, Vue)

  • Maintaining the web application (refactoring, improving performance, fixing issues, migrating code to new solutions)

  • Maintain and grow the web infrastructure over AWS (Debian, Terraform, Ansible)

  • Refactor the software to meet modern standards: SOLID, DDD, Hexagonal Architecture, Unit Test, Functional Test

  • Work on code optimization

  • Work in a cross-functional agile team

Job requirements

THIS IS YOU

  • You have very good PHP knowledge. This includes programming, debugging, automation and testing. Experience in using a PHP MVC Framework is a must.

  • You know the PHPUnit framework.

  • You have at least 3 years of coding with PHP

  • You are familiar with modern coding standards: SOLID, DDD, Hexagonal Architecture, Unit Test, Functional Test

  • You are very familiar with HTML5 and CSS3, can build responsive designs using Flexbox and understand the basics of Javascript (jQuery).

  • Knowledge of SASS/LESS is a plus.

  • Knowledge of AWS/DevOps culture is a plus.

  • You have at least basic knowledge about one of the modern Javascript Frameworks (React/Angular/Vue etc) and ES6.

  • You have good MySQL knowledge (designing optimal database structure and constructing advanced queries, aware of slow queries).

  • You understand REST APIs.

  • You have a basic level of Linux administration skills and can work in the Linux environment in your day-to-day work.

  • You are passionate about programming and new development standards.

  • You're a go-getter with initiative, and you thrive on taking ownership of your tasks!

  • You have a good level of English.

  • You have at least experience with Laravel or Symfony.
