THE ROLE 🖌️

Our Sales Operations Executive plays a key role in driving the smooth running  of our Sales Department. Working closely with the Sales Director, you’ll own our sales process and associated tools, helping to set the pace for the team by monitoring activity, following up on pipelines, and partnering with Team Leaders to ensure targets are met. 

You’ll also provide clear reporting and actionable analysis across our five markets, helping identify opportunities and resolve challenges. 



YOU WILL ⚙️

 Own all sales processes and continuously develop or streamline for maximum effectiveness of the sales team. 

● Oversee the proper use and maintenance of the CRM system, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. 

● Ensure all team members follow the defined processes and policies with regard to admin tasks, CRM logs, deal status, pipeline stage management etc. 

● Conduct regular pipeline audits and follow up with reps who don’t meet defined standards or ranges. 

● Generate regular reports and dashboards to track department KPI’s and provide insights to leadership. 

● Monitor performances utilising results, win rates, sales cycle, deal open rate etc. and identify areas for improvement as well as providing insights for reviews. 

● Assist in accurate sales forecasting, goal setting and sales planning with leadership.

● Set the daily rhythm and pace for the sales team, ensuring all pipelines, activities, and deal stages are up to date and reflect real-time progress.

 ● Analyse sales data to identify trends, opportunities, pains and areas for improvement. 

 ● Partner closely with market team leaders to reinforce accountability of KPI’s aligned with activity metrics and CRM hygiene. 

● Assist in onboarding of new sales team members. 

● Host “learning huddles” on tools best practices. 

● Provide support for sales strategy implementation with ad-hoc reporting and process new development. 

● Create and keep up to date all sales collateral and documentation. 

● Ensure our tech stack is used efficiently across the sales team, with the right tools in place and optimised as well as reviewing new technologies. 

● Identify opportunities for automation within sales processes to reduce manual workload. 

● Collaborate cross department to align sales initiatives for maximum efficiency e.g.Invoicing/Finance, Business intelligence, Operations. 

● Identify and resolve operational issues that impedes sales performance so focus can be on selling.

● Manage the day-to-day operations of the sales team to ensure goals are hit and correct processes are followed. 

● Resolve problems within the team and escalate larger issues to leadership. 

Job requirements

THIS IS YOU ✅

  • You have a fluent level of English, other languages (French, Italian, Spanish or German) are a plus but not mandatory.

  • Previous ownership of sales cycles and CRM systems for a team or department.

  • You have a proven experience of KPI ownership.

  • You possess leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.

  • You are skilled in problem solving within a team setting and dealing with multiple stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • Proactive mindset.

  • You plan and execute well and are able to communicate ideas to the team.

  • You’re organised and are able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

  • You have excellent communication skills.

  • You have excellent knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.

  • You have a strong interest in the food industry.
